10+ year old cars in the northeast LOL at PB blaster.

I have one. My dad was given it in the early 70's when the gas station he was working at closed down. It’s horrifically unsafe. I have never used it. My buddy used it once, against his better judgement. I need to get a new hose set and regulators.

you might as well just change the jets in a car wash to just spray pb blaster on every nook and cranny of the underside of them

I wish I had a pic of my cheater
It’s the entire exhaust midpipe from an ‘80s Saab 900

Shoot, cars in the midwest LOL at PB blaster. It’s great if you get the rusty bolt soon enough. However, wait too long and the rusty bolt basically (if not literally) becomes fused to the rest of the car.

It always seems like one side of the car is worse than the other too. You’ll work on one side and think, “Hey that wasn’t too bad.” Then you go to the other side and spend 3 hours removing a few bolts swearing like a drunken sailor.

Fuck Hank Hill, once you go Oxy/Acet you’ll never go back to propane.

Yup, the passenger side is always worse. Curb side and all the salt and crap that gets kicked up.

The subtext to the cheater pole is “I’m fine with breaking this socket”

I never really thought about it but that makes sense and it usually is the passenger side I have issues with since I usually start on the drivers side for whatever reason.

My cheater is the jack from my Trans Am

Me as well. We had three early 2000s model Taurus platform cars that were donated and of the three, two were rotted out on the passenger side twice as bad as the drivers side. Rockers were gone from the a pillar to the rear wheel arch. But they looked decent from street level because of the plastic rocker cover. It wasn’t until we hoisted them that it was evident. Amazing how much worse the passenger side was though.

One of my roll cage fab friends used a 20 foot piece of cromoly steel as a cheater pole. He just sort of put his hand on it and the nut cracked
